“Steel House”, a new form of construction innovation, is another option for those who want to build a house. With a short period of construction, easy maintenance, strength and durability, it is not all that different form a concrete house.

This is the same with Dr. Tanosin and Dr. Yaowarate Kanmali who decided to build a steel house for a suitable and relaxing place for their elderly parents. The house is a one-storey building with a mix of applied Thai and contemporary styles. A prominent form of the house looks similar to a concrete house. The roofing materials looks like MONIER tiles but actually it is constructed of UPVC, which is a light weight, noise absorbing and heat reflecting material. The walls which resemble a plastered, concrete wall is a fiber-cement wall with insulation. This makes the house cool inside and less energy is needed for air conditioning.
Besides being stylish and having a beautiful exterior, interior functionalities of the house are perfectly designed. With two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a storage room, the house is suitable for a simple yet practical life. It is also an energy saving house made from substitute materials and above all else, the duration of construction is short.
Since a house is one of the fundamental factors for life, to build a private world around the house can fulfill the happiness of any family. The beautiful garden in the front of the house imitates a real forest with big and small trees and an assortment of animals.
