More Than 10 Years With PD HOUSE : Acting Captain Jit Siratharanon
“ We build a house once and live in all our life so we must be careful and well planned otherwise it will be as the old proverb said, ‘ Build the wrong house causes us think about it till the house collapse,’.” To build a house on our plot of land, we can choose the location, a good builder company that has a good reputation and responsibility. We can also have a look at the house they built before we make a decision. If we buy a house from a housing development project, things like I said above cannot be done so we had better had someone who has moral responsibility to share the idea with us in building a house.” This is what Acting Captain Jit thought.

Acting Captain Jit told “ Sukjai” staff that he visited many home builder companies, consulted some friends who were architects but none satisfied him and at last he chose PD House to build his house on 237 sq.w. plot of land at Soi Ratchakasem, Ratchadamnern Road, Tambon Ban Mor, Amphoe Muang, Petchaburi I 1998. This was one the first houses PD built in provincial area.“ At first I have an idea to build a house for my parents to provide them a place to take a rest after their long hard working. I have a familiar architect design a house but the design looks like a commercial building, I cancel that design though I paid for it. Then I search information of home builder company from magazines and friends because 10 years ago home builder business was not prosperous like now. I get a brochure of PD House which seems interesting. I can look at the design and structure both inside and outside and many things can be changed and the most important, Feng Sui which I know nothing about, is also advised. I make up mymind to choose PD House.”
After I chose the design and modified to meet my needs, The results of the final conclusion was a 2 storey house with 5 bedrooms,6 bathrooms. For the price, it cost me 3,600,000 Baht which was not as expensive as I had expected. It also came with 300,000 Baht discount promotion. This was a good trade in the economic crisis in Thailand at that time. However, I spent 300,000 Baht discount for granite
floor.
“ What I like is that I can change, modify the design to meet my need. We talk about the design, calculate the price before the construction begins so no quarrel during the construction so the work is well completed to be this house. Afterwards, if there are any problems, the construction crew from the company will come and fix them for me.”
Acting Captain Jit said proudly that after this house was finished 10 years ago, it attracted interest of people in the neighborhood because it was the first house that had prominent style with two tone paint. Many people came to have a look and took photos. The most important was that until now the beauty of the house still the same, no cracks on the structures.

This was one of the first houses PD built in provincial areas which reflects the work that bring proud and happiness to inhabitants. The house fulfills the definition of “Home” where one can reside happily.
Ten years passed and the house still gives the warm and happiness for inhabitants. The favourite corners of the owner are dining room and office room which is airy and he can look at the beautiful outside through the window. This help make him work with happiness.
