To Build A House,The Attention Must Be Paid To Every Step Of Construction

          To build a house and gain full satisfaction,the owner must pay close attention to every step of the construction—the location,the land,the house design and the home builder company—so no problems follow after the construction is completed. Assoc.Prof.Dr.Chakchai’s family used these reasons in building their house.

          “After long years of work,I planned to build a house to spend my time with the children in an extended family.I don’t want a hosue in the development project because the design is not what I want and it can’t be modified.I go around to have a look at big plot of land and found a 400 sq.w.in Kritsada Nakorn project at Rungsit. It is on the main road,close to shopping mall and not flooded.Moreover,the land is near my workplace so I decide to buy it.”

          For PD House,Dr.Chakchai said that he knew the company by website and magazines.A few designs attracted me and when I discussed with my family members,everyone agreed.PD House also has an office near Rungsit so it is convenient to look after the construction.

          “I tell the company that I dislike the house that is hot,the leaking roof and termite,PD House agreed to solve the problems and build the house we want.”

  

          The house is on 400 sq.w.plot of land with 700 sq.m.living area.The total budget is about 25 millions Baht—8 for the construction cost,4 for modifying,4 for interior decoration,4 for garden and 5 for the land.

          The doctor and his family moved into the house last April.Everybody said that they were happy in the house.The weather here is fine especially in the morning.The favourite corner for everybody is home theatre room where they can join many activities together after long hours of work.

          “ I worked since I was a student. Now besides teaching at the faculty of Medicine,I am a pediatrician and has to work hard everyday.After work,I like to spend my time with my family.I think that this house will be the place for our family.Though my children are grown up,we will live together because there is plenty of space for the kids to run and play.”

           The doctor left the message for those who are going to build a house that first of all the family members must be asked for their consent.Then other details such as convenience for going back and forth to work and the builder company will be considered.

            The owner of the house must also take responsibilities for the construction.Every detail must be discussed before the construction begin and during the construction the owner has to visit the work site regularly.
