When we decide to build a new house, we have to consider thoroughly about the builder. While we were looking for a reliable home builder company,Dr.Kunthontip Panitchapak,a niece of my mother and the instructor at the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University recommended PD HOUSE because she trusted the standard and workmanship of the company.

PD HOUSE impressed us so much. They took good care of us, easy going and understand the needs of the owner. To compare with others, we have hardly faced any problems.

When you have to move from your old home by whatever reasons, you have to choose a new one. Some choose to buy a new house in a housing development project because it is convenient but the needed location is not easily found because most of the development projects situated in the suburb area. Others choose to build their own because they can choose the location and house designs and can put whatever you want in the designs. This is the idea of a young professional public relation from 124 Communication—Khun Watit Prasomsap,CEO of 124 Communication Consulting Company Limited. He graduated from Faculty of Mass Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University and also earned his Master degree in Management from Thammasart University. He first worked as a creative with Hot Wave and Radio Vote which is the first team to run Hot Wave Music Award. He then moved to work as a public relation and marketing for TOT before he was invited by 124 Communication at that time to do a consultancy work looking after customers from public sector such as National Bank, Suwannapum Airport Authority, the Senate. Afterwards, he has become the CEO of the company until present days.

Khun Watit married Khun Waritsara who graduated from the same Faculty from ChulalongKorn University. She also got her Master degree in Management from NIDA and now runs her own herbal business and open “Warisa” shop at The Mall Ramkamheang.

Khun Watit welcomed “Droom” staff at his beautiful house. He told the background of his first house that was different from others.Many people build the first houses for the beginning of their family lives but Khun Watit had his own reason. This house originated from the changing of the environment of his 0ld house. Once his mother lived in the area around Petchaburi road with their relatives. When the new high buildings arose and the traffic became bad and high pollution of the surrounding, his mother and her relatives decided to sell the houses and find a better places to live. His mother bought a plot of land in Soi Aree where it is convenient to commute to any places.

When asked why didn’t she buy a house in a development project, Khun Watit said that his mother didn’t like a house that is the same shape as others which was usually built in a development project. Besides, the project situated in the suburb area and the owner couldn’t choose the materials so when we had got the land we were looking for the builder.

After we contacted PD HOUSE,PD staff brought us many house designs to be selected. Because the width of the land was rather narrow, the designs were not suit with the land so PD staff modified the design to meet our needs. The house is Modern Thai Contemporary with 450 sq.m. living area. Some materials such as handrail and floor were changed to real wood and lamps were also changed. The construction took about 1 year and a half. During the construction, we paid attention to all steps and talked with engineers and foreman. We also learned many things in construction from them. We also learned about materials used from the architect who designed the house and PD staff. This house is not a standard design from the company but we also put our ideas in the design. When the construction was completed, we felt very proud of it and it would tie up the relationship of our family members.

When asked what did he feel about the builder,Khun Watit said that  PD HOUSE impressed us so much. They took good care of us, easy going and understand the needs of the owner. To compare with others, we have hardly faced any problems.

Khun Watit also left the message to those who are going to build the house that they should compare themselves with the builder company. They should get along with each other well because the company and the owner have to work together for almost a year. If they have conflicts, both will be affected. It is important that the owner should study the background of the builder thoroughly.
