Line

Khun Ditsapon, the owner of the house, is a deputy manager F.S.K. (Thailand) Company Limited. He loves travelling, collecting house decoration items, arts and fish breeding. He can mix things he loves with house decorating so the result is the house looks airy, clean and tidy as the member family—a mother and teenager children—satisfy.

The double space hall with the ceiling high up to 2nd floor makes the house looks airy. The white crystal  floor tiles from Italy make the house look neat and tidy. The wall tiled with the same tiles but different sizes and pattern with rough surface marble help look lively and natural. The vacant room under the stairs was decorated with dugong carved from Edpodrorn wood—the rare scented wood.

The other corner of the hall is a set of pearl buried tea table from Vietnam with white materials and golf display to record his journey abroad.

The house is everything for us, we think of the house and we want to come back to take a rest. The former house decorated with wood seemed solid but this 2 storey house with 480 sq.m. living area Khun Ditsapon gave his idea to build the airy hall with large door and window with less frame. The airy room is a good background  for other decorating items such as furniture, lamps and arts. White built in furniture makes closets and lamps harmonize with the wall. The hall and living area is connected with white wooden hasp lets hidden the area.

The end of the big hall stopped with a big aquarium. In the dining area a table and orange leather chair are placed. Adding bright color furniture to black and white area can explain the taste and selves of the owners. From a high ceiling in the far end of the living room then lower to the other end is still airy with glass door corners and wooden farmers which make the two areas smoothly connected.

The house was divided proportionally. The hall was floored with tiles connected to the modern style living room with wooden elevated floor. The kitchen and service area walled with marble topped wall look simple and dominant with wooden floor and furniture. The small stairs on the second floor connects the old house with the new one. “I don’t want to abandon the old house because most of my decorating items are still there. For the design of this new house, the proportionally divides the area help make the house looks neat and tidy. Things are kept in the cupboards so it is not look like the mess.

The house looks tidy because things are kept in the cupboards in every area. The smooth cupboard corners may look boring so small openings were cut on the wall to keep miscellaneous items. Lines put on built in furniture makes the room not too plain. The space close to the stairs is not left unattended but a book shelf is put to get benefit from the area.

The service area at the back is for a storage room and a 2 meters high cupboard to keep cleaning tools and other mechanical instruments. A big sliding frosted glass is easily opened and easily cleaned.A part of the old house and the wing of a new one was connected to form the same area and clear glass is used to contrast with the own light brown one but it is shaded by a small garden beside the house.Beside the main entrance there is a small space for leisurely sitting or putting on shoes before get on the car. A part of parking area was floored  with marble and small plants to refresh the house but it is still airy and expose to natural light in harmony with sand stone columns and small garden.

Bathroom walls are marble contrasted with black granite top and decorated with 1x1 mosaic metallic enameled with accessories and golden crystal finishing  from Cotto.Inside the main kitchen, the counter was tapped with black top and laminated cover easy to be cleaned ,decorated with 1.5x1.5 inches multicolor glass. Some of the cupboard used different materials such as teak plywood of Maka wood and violet flower shape lamps were added to make the room colorful.

Khun Ditsapon said that he is a kind of an easily boring people so he used multi-objects in his bedroom. The bathroom is luxury with crystal decorated sanitary wares. The kitchen decorated with bright color glass. To add these miscellaneous decorating items help make the house colorful and not boring.

Fish pond 1.8 m. deep and a room size wide floored with black stone contrasted with more than 40 colorful carps which Khun Ditsapon love watching.

The house should be the place where we feel comfortable when we live in. For me, I like the fish, I feel comfortable when I sit down watching them swimming. Khun Ditsapon brought everything he likes to decorate his house. He built a huge pond for breeding fish in front of his house. Inside of the house, he installed colorful lamps so contrast the white floor.
