“From the initial plan to renovate the house in order to gain more living area, we found it to be very expensive so we deferred the idea in search of another solution. After weighing all the options, we finally decided on having a new home built.”

Khun Saranporn Samithipreechawong and Khun Kanyapat Thong-ngeon indicated the necessity for warmth and happiness under the roof of a new house and, “the house should originate from love and understanding. The design and functions of the house should be absolutely perfect. At first, we planned to renovate the old wooden house. After discussions with the contractor, we found that the cost would be too high; around 2 to 3 million baht. We agreed that it was not worth renovating and building a new one would be the better choice.”

After the decision was made to have a home built, the Khun Saranporn family began searching for a building company. They didn’t feel comfortable with the local contractor and began searching for several building companies in the hopes of finding a professional one. Khun Saranporn added, “we required a quality house and that the construction timelines needed to be followed. We didn’t trust the contractor because we were afraid that some of the works could remain unfinished. After reviewing several building companies, we decided to have PD House build our home. We could tell that they would be reliable. From what we read, it confirmed to us that they were well accepted by customers from various occupations. Furthermore, they had many house designs to choose from. They also have offices located throughout the country including one in Chonburi. We were confident that they could build a home to meet our needs.”

Khun Kanyapat also added, “we took quite a long time to choose a building company because we wanted to ensure they provided good service and build a home that would meet our needs. We also requested a minor modification to the original floor plan for a perfect living space which they were able to provide.”

The design Khun Saranporn and his family chose was a Contemporary style home. It consists of 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main floor is divided into a living room, a kitchen and a dining area including an airy hall. The upstairs contains all the bedrooms with a Buddha room connected by a walk way. The favourite corner for the family is a spacious living room where family members can gather for their activities.

Additionally, the home looks prominent with its beautiful form and perfect functionality and it is also an energy efficient house. “When we first contacted PD House, we were unaware the home would be so energy efficient. When the construction was complete, we were happy to realize that it would save substantial energy usage. We were very pleased with that.”

Khun Saranporn also added, “When we first looked at the floor plan, we knew that this was the house for our family. During construction it was hard for us to imagine what it would finally look like however, upon completion PD House delivered exactly what we had expected.”
