Family is the Most Important
If one is asked why he wants a home, the answer may vary but the most probability might be for the security of life. Home, by itself, is really a security of a family because it is the place where family members live together. It is the place we feel warm and secure because it is ours. For the reasons, deciding to build a house requires thoroughly considering so the house will meet the needs of the family members.This is the same as Khun Wimala Suwannachat’s family. It is the middle size family consists of father, mother and two children.”First we live in a condo but when our children grow up we need more privacy. We can’t modify much with our condo and we own a plot of land so we decide to build a house.”
From a small family, now it is the time to expand because there are privacy factors of our growing up teenage children. The condo is too narrow and we can’t extend the living area we need. The final solution is building a house to be the center of our family.
“We visited many home builder companies. We were concerned about choosing one because we have heard that some customers have problems with some companies. At last we chose PD because a relative recommended that they were trustworthy. When we compared the cost of construction and the quality of the work we were okay with PD House. They provided good service, good advice and modified the drawing to meet our needs.” Khun Wimala also added, ”We brought a Feng Sui Master to have a look and the location of the door had to be changed, PD solved our problem to comply with Feng Sui principle and construction function.”
Because the house is located at the junction and according to Feng Sui principle the door of the house cannot be located at the front of the house, to solve the problem is sensitive. The former structural design has to be changed by moving the parking area to the front and move the door to the side of the house. A large mirror is placed in front of the house to preserve the existing feature of the front and also benefits the wind direction.
The interior decoration is simple because they have a young naughty son so there is no table in the living area to prevent their son from hitting it. The sofa and dining table are properly set and the art works from Khun Wimala’S hobby are hung on the wall. A few pieces of modern furniture help make the house look not too simple and the warm color loike cream, light brown and light grey make the house look wide, comfort the eye sight. Upstairs are divided into 3 bedrooms to provide privacy and decorated as each one likes. In the front of the house there is a small garden for family members activity and a playground for their young son.
“We have a home builder company build our house because when we first saw the land we had no idea how to design a house so our children have their own room, we want an office and living area, a small garden in the front. We had no idea where o start. PD House has designs for us and when we agreed with the design and the construction completed, it was unbelievable. It was big and we got all we needed. The construction completed before the date due, very impressing. Today when someone comes to ask for advice about the builder, I recommend PD House.” Khun Wimala added.
