WPC (WOOD PLASTIC COMPOSITE) is made from 70% plastic powder and 30% of wood powder or wood fiber. The method of production is to extrude the material into the desired shape, though injection molding is also used. WPC has a color, a texture and a beauty of natural wood. It is strong and stiff, does not corrode, resistant to rot or decay and termite. It can be exposed to water and moisture, lighter than natural wood and easy to install and is also an environmentally friendly material. WPC is used for exterior decoration, soffit ceiling and external ceiling.

Maintenance

          WPC is easy for maintenance because it is resistant to rot and decay, not shrink or swell and the paint is not peeled off. The paint will be fade if exposed directly to UV, but it can be repainted.

Installation of decorating wood wall

1. Install the C-line frame at every 9.40-meter interval on the wall to be decorated.

2. Install the first decorating WPC wood at the bottom most and screw the beveled top edge to the frame.

3. Install the next wood panel on upper location of the first one, the beveled edge of the second one will cover the screw heads of the first one

4. Continue the procedure until the targeted decoration area is covered. When the installation is completed the groove on the decorating wall are the same size and the head of the screws are not seen.

5. Glued the head of the wood panels with a trim.

6. Clean and seal the acrylic at the edge of the trim.

4. Install the right-angle trim at the head of the panel and on the eaves at the specified level.

5. Install the WPC panel to the lock claw ensuring both sides of the heads of the panels are placed on the right-angle trim (no screws required).

6. Clean and seal with acrylic between the right-angle trim and the wall and between the right-angle trim and the eaves. (When the panels are installed, the space between each panel will be exactly 1cm.)

Recommendation

Lathed soffit ceiling should be placed crosswise, if the panel is placed lengthwise, it will be in a fraction (if the soffit is not parallel)

And there will be a joint at every 3 meters interval. It will be discontinuous and doesn’t look nice.
