         Within 24 hours in a day, the life of working age people ties with two places—“home” and “office”. It is sure that the atmosphere of the two places is absolutely different. If asked where is the happier, the answer is surely “home”. Whatever and wherever makes you tired, when you arrive home your tiredness disappear. If one tries to change the working atmosphere to that of a home, it is quite interesting. It will causes less tired because it looks like you are at home, not working in an office.

        Khun Nikom Ubon,the importer of machine spare parts and machine programmer in Hat Yai, Songkla is the one who dares to change the serious office atmosphere to a warm and relaxing place.He built a new house and use it as an office besides use for only residential purpose. Khun Nikpme told us that “We do a business and we want to have a permanent office. If we rent an office, we have to move frequently which is not good for a business. We need an office which is different from typical office because we want to have a relaxing atmosphere like staying at home.”

        Khun Nikom also added that “After we decided to have a permanent office, we looked for a home builder company.I accidentally read “Baan Sukjai” magazine –the free copy magazine of PD House—and knew from the magazine that building a home is not complicated as I have thought. When talking with PD staff and looked at the designs they have, I decided to have PD build our house.”

 

  



 


 
                The beautiful house which is also a warm office is a house model WA-725 from PD House. It is a modern style,simple and answer the modern life style.It provides conveniences for both working and dwelling.The area inside is divided independently emphasized on simplicity.The lower floor is used for working area decorated with floating staircase topped with black granite contrasted with blue wall which looked solemn but warm.On the upper flor,there is a bedroom,meeting room ans seminar room to host the guests or customers.


                Apart from changing in the form of the place, Khun Nikom played with color to make the room more attractive.Blue is used to represent the theme of the company and yellow and grey are his favorite.When all the color both strong and light mixed, they are perfect.
