A home is a place where warmth and happiness of a family assembled. To build a house is not easy because it takes a lot of money. It also takes time to find a dreamed house and a trustable home builder companies to prevent disappointment in the future.

          Before building a house, she said, there was a discuss among family members and all agreed that the house should have a common area for everybody so we looked for the desired designs from home magazines and accidentally saw an attractive design of a small house and everyone liked it.

           Then we searched a home builder companies but none of the companies we wanted came to open their offices in Chiang Mai where we work and live. We stopped our plan to build for a while until PD House opened their office here, we visited them and decided to have them build our house.

          Khun Big defines the meaning of “home” that it is a center for family members to assemble and do activities together . At first, the house was designed 1 storey but after discussed with PD staff we were advised to build a 2 storey house and the savant we consulted agreed with this.

          The house was designed modern style and painted white outside and multicolor inside. Khun Big also disclosed that  the multicolor inside matched with everybody’s fate. The living area is about 160 square meters with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Downstairs are divided into living room connected with a hall way to the kitchen and dining area.

          “We have 3 persons in our family so we don’t need a big house but a perfect living area. We did a little modification according to the advice of the savant to meet the Feng Sui principle and to harmonize with our business-second hand car dealer.”

          Khun Big added that doing a business, he has to negotiate with the customers. This sometimes puts him under strain but when he comes back home he feels fully relax. He can see his family members doing activities together and his fatigue is gone.

          The most favorite corner of Khun Big is swimming pool because she can take a rest there after returning back from work. She feels relax looking blue water in the pool. For Khun Daeng, her husband, he likes home theatre the most because he likes to watch movies and listen to the music. Bang Bang, their daughter, likes her bedroom because she designed and picked the furniture herself.

           Khun Big left the message for those who want to build a house that first of all the budget should be planned and the materials should be carefully picked because we spend many years in the house. The structure must strong enough, the design should be modern and the builder should be trustable by studying their working history.

          Before building the house, she said, she visited a home builder company but they said she had to pay some amount of deposit before discussing her drawing. She said that was not the way she wanted. She needed some advice before going on with the construction.
