In a place called ‘home’ is a place for relax and cut away from outside.It is a place for one’s self and his or her family member.But for Suttet family,a home is a place for everything in their life-eat,play,sleep and also a workplace.To compare the area and activities,a home is small like a chilli pepper.
The definition of home for Suttet family is “Home is everything,it is a product of our labor.We want to stay home so we make the home to be our office.This is the place for us”. The warmth shone from their eyes told us their happiness we felt when we first entered the house. “Formerly,we had a house just opposite this one.When our business grew we plan to build a new house on our vaccant land so it will be the place we can work and relax.We like to stay home so we want our home is a place for everything in our life.We get up and work,we go up to take a rest when we feel tired,we eat when we are hungry.It is convenient and economy.We can do many things in a day.”When we heard Khun Apirak said like this we agreed.The mostimportant thing for this house is allocating the area in the house to cover each activity. “We chose PD House because we saw an advertisement a a journal and someone recommended.It is also near our home so it will be convenient to contact.We are not disappointed.PD House took good care of us,gave advice and at last we got the house”.There were some problems during the construction but they were solved and that made us know what is good and who is professional.
The house is modern style,square shape and is prominent among the neighborhood.The area was clearly designed and most of the living area inside the house is for living and working.A large mirror makes the house feel bigger and not too solid and also save the energy because the source of light comes from nature outside.Electricity light is not needed during the day time. “We heard that PD House has a energy saving and environmentally friendly design.We felt great to be a part so we chose PD.” To pay attention to global warming is the worl awareness.PD House also awares to the problem and use it as a guide for our business.
The area inside the house is divided for each activity.The first floor is for a work place.The large hall on the second floor is for reception and also a place for private reception.The second floor is connected to the mezzanine above the parking area.There is a private place covered by sliding lath panel before ascending to the third floor.It is like walking in the Versailles.The gold wall paper is applied to all the wall contrasts with flower stamped wall paper.The three bedrooms were designed to meet the needs of the owner.The most private place is on the top of the building.The is a sky garden on the top where the family members used as a place to relax and a small kitchen is located there too.When talking about the house, a gleam of happiness is shone through the eyes of the family member.The defifition of ‘home’ may vary depends on the different taste and experiences of the individual which reveals the self of the owner.
